Flannery O'Connor: Letters from Andalusia

Loyola • Notre Dame Library

In the Spring of 2011, the Loyola Notre Dame Library mounted an exhibit from its archives titled “Flannery O’Connor: Letters from Andalusia” based on correspondence in its collection from the late author. The library director and archivist enlisted my help to conceptualize and to produce the large display panels, accompanying item descriptions, and promotional materials used for the exhibit. I worked closely with both of them to establish how selected items would be presented, as well as overseeing the actual installation. An illustration of O'Connor from renowned artist Barry Moser served as a focal point.
The exhibit remained on display from Feb. 28 - April 23 and brought visitors to the library from both Loyola and Notre Dame, as well as the outside community.
